Hi! I’m Haley

I’m a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist based in San Francisco, CA, specializing in emotional trauma, attachment wounds, and challenging relationship dynamics. I work with individuals who feel stuck in old patterns and are seeking meaningful change, deeper connection, and relief from emotional distress.

I was drawn to this work because of a deep love for human connection and strong belief in the transformative power of relationships for healing, growth, and self discovery. I consider it a privilege to walk alongside my clients in their healing and witness their courage and resilience.

Outside of my role as a therapist, you can find me hiking, camping, exploring the coast, trying new recipes, making art, or spending time in nature with my dog, Finley.

“Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.”

Specialties

General Therapy

I support individual adults and adolescents navigating a range of concerns, including trauma, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, attachment wounds, codependency, and relationship challenges. Whether you're seeking help with a specific goal or are new to therapy, I tailor my approach to meet you where you are and support your unique needs. Virtual and in-person sessions are available for individual adults, couples, and adolescents.

Trauma Therapy

Healing from trauma can feel overwhelming—like no matter how hard you try, you're still stuck in patterns you don’t fully understand. If traditional talk therapy has fallen short in helping you find the root of the challenges you repeatedly face, a somatic approach may offer a new path forward. I treat single-incident trauma, PTSD, and C-PTSD (complex trauma) with the use of somatic approaches like EMDR, and other attachment-focused and mindfulness-based interventions—engaging both the mind and body to gently guide you toward feeling more grounded, empowered, and whole. I believe healing is possible.

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based therapy approach designed to help individuals process and heal from traumatic experiences and break free from limiting internalized beliefs. EMDR works by engaging the brain’s natural ability to integrate and make sense of distressing memories. Through the use of guided eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation, EMDR helps reduce the emotional intensity of traumatic memories, allowing individuals to gain new insights, shift unhelpful beliefs, and move toward greater emotional resilience.

Couples + Relationships

Relationships thrive with care and intention—but it's not always easy to navigate the challenges that arise along the way. Whether you are an individual navigating difficult relational patterns, or a couple longing for deeper connection, I am here to support you. I help couples identify their strengths, understand and shift painful patterns, and build more effective communication. Together, we will work to deepen emotional and physical intimacy, foster a foundation of appreciation for one another, and create a stronger, more secure bond.

Anxiety + Attachment

Do you find yourself stuck in anxious thought spirals and relationship patterns? You’re constantly replaying conversations, imagining worst case scenarios, and overthinking every decision. This experience can feel overwhelming, lonely, and exhausting. I support folks with anxiety, codependency issues, and anxious relationship patterns, helping them understand what’s beneath the worry and develop tools to manage their symptoms, build self-trust, improve relationships and feel more grounded and in control of their lives.

Grief + Loss

Losing someone you love is life altering. Grief can feel isolating, overwhelming, and unpredictable—finding a space where your pain is accepted, embraced, and truly understood can feel impossible. No matter the circumstance of your loss, the experience of grief is complex and deeply personal. I am here to sit with you in the messiness of it all and to help you find ways to care for yourself as you move through the waves of grief. You’re not alone.
